A 41-year-old man drowned in Comino on Monday afternoon.The Portuguese man found himself in trouble while swimming at the Blue Lagoon at around 1pm, police said in a statement. He was brought to shore by Emergency Response and Rescue Corps lifeguards and rushed straight to Gozo General Hospital, but was pronounced dead by doctors who examined him. Magistrate Paul Coppini is leading an inquiry into the death.
