PN leader Adrian Delia promised to continue working to safeguard the interests of the people and to speak out in Europe on their behalf.
He was speaking following a European Peoples’ Party summit in Salzburg.
The summit discussed the economic situations in Europe, Brexit and immigration, among other topics.
Dr Delia encouraged other political leaders to truly find a solutions to overcome the immigration challenge saying this was a European issue which all EU countries together should work to overcome.
He also had a number of bilateral meetings.
The summit was attended by, among others, European Commission President Jean Claude Juncker, European Parliament President Antonio Tajani, PPE chairman Manfred Weber and secretary general Antonio Lopez Isturiz.
