A 69-year-old man from Lija was grievously injured in a traffic accident in his hometown on Tuesday.
The police said the accident happened in Triq il-Mosta at 9.30am. The man was driving a BMW that was involved in a collision with another BMW that was being driven by a 22-year-old man from Birkirkara.
The 69-year-old was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.
The police are investigating.
