A 59-year-old man from Victoria was seriously hurt when he was run over by a car in Triq it-Taflija in Xewkija.
Police said that the accident occurred at 8.10am.
The man is being treated at the Gozo General Hospital.
The car was being driven by a 43-year-old man from Żebbuġ (Gozo).
Investigations are still underway.
