Three men are in hospital after the car they were in crashed into an electricity pole in Birkirkara this morning, the police said.
The accident took place in Intornjatur Street at 8am.
The car, a Toyota Vitz, was being driven by a 40-year-old man of Zabbar, who had two passengers with him, a Birkirkara man aged 40 and a third person who is still to be identified.
The three men suffered serious injuries.
Magistrate Ian Farrugia is leading an inquiry.
