25 people, both Maltese and foreign nationals, aged between 17 and 42 were arrested on Wednesday night by the vice squad, a police statement read.
The people were arrested in connection with drugs, after searches were made during entertainment activities in Rabat, Malta.
Cocaine, cannabis and pills were found.
Four of the people arrested, a 37-year old Serbian who resides in St Paul’s Bay, a 21-year-old Russian who resides in Gwardamanga, A 28-year-old Maltese from Qormi and a 17-year-old girl from Tarxien were arrested in connection to a find of around 50 ecstasy pills which indicated that they were going to be sold on the night.
Investigations are ongoing.
