A man was taken to hospital this afternoon after he was found unconscious in the sea at Qawra, the police said.
The man was taken ashore by two other swimmers at around 5.15pm in the Fra Ben area.
The 60-year-old man, a Bosnian who lives in St Paul’s Bay, was taken to hospital after being given first assistance on site.
