As from tonight (Monday, 2 September) to Friday (6 September), 8pm to 5am, Infrastructure Malta is closing northbound carriageway of Regional Road, between the Santa Venera Tunnels and the #SantaVenera-#Birkirkara bridge roundabout
Drivers are urged to follow diversion signs from the #Marsa-#Hamrun Bypass to #Mriehel. All Regional Road lanes will be open during the day.
After reconstructing the stretch of Regional Road between the Tal-Qroqq Tunnels and Santa Venera and 7 junctions along the way, IM is now upgrading another part of this road, further south, to introduce central reservation crash barriers for more #roadsafety and to resurface the carriageway with new asphalt.
Southbound carriageway was completed last week, the northbound carriageway will be ready this weekend.
