An 87-year-old man from Xewkija has been charged with attempted murder over an argument that took place earlier this week.
The man was also charged with firing a weapon, causing slight injuries to another man, causing damage and being in possession of an unlicensed firearm.
He pleaded not guilty and was denied bail.
The other man, a 35-year-old also of Xewkija, was also charged over the case on Tuesday.
He was accused of causing grievous injuries to the 87-year-old. According to a police statement, he had hit the elderly man with a weapon.
