A man was seriously injured this afternoon after a ceiling collapsed in Birkirkara, the police said.
The accident took place in Triq Ghar il-Gobon at 1pm.
The 48-year-old man from Marsascala was assisted by a medical team and officials from the Civil Protection Department before being taken to hospital with serious inuuries.
