A cyclist was seriously injured in an accident on the Coast Road this morning, the police said.
The cyclist, a 62-year-old British man, was involved in an accident with a Chevrolet Lacetti which was parked on the side of the road as it had broken down.
The cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Magistrate Natasha Galea Sciberras is leading an inquiry.
