The Meteorological Office has issued a warning about strong winds for this evening as the temperature is expected to fall five degrees Celsius overnight.

The North to Northwest wind will be locally strong at times over the exposed areas of the Maltese Islands, the Met office said. Valid until eight o’clock tonight (06/2000 local time) and may be renewed accordingly.

And, while today’s temperature registered a high of 26 degrees Celsius, the highest for Thursday is not expected to go beyond 21 degrees, five degrees less. Thundery showers are expected on Thursday too, while the temperature is expected to continue to drop further later this week.
