A man died last night after he was hit by a car in Marsa, the police said.
The accident happened in the Marsa-Hamrun bypass, Marsa, at 11.45pm.
The man, whose identity is unknown, was hit by a Kia Picanto Morning driven by a 28-year-old man of Zejtun.
The man was certified dead on scene.
The driver was given medical treatment for shock.
Magistrate Audrey Demicoli is leading an inquiry.
