The government is announcing a new set of measures aimed at assisting employers and businesses in tackling the economic effects of the Coronavirus spread.
The health authorities have thus far implemented a vast number of measures to help reduce the risk of the virus spreading, however these have caused many problems for businesses.
With airports shut and no tourists flying in, all entertainment outlets closed and several businesses facing tough times, the government is now publishing another list of measures to sustain a wide array of sectors hit hard by the crisis. The past economic measures issued were deemed by many not to have gone far enough in curbing the effects of the current situation on businesses and did not do enough to protect jobs.
