A passenger was injured when the car he was in overturned in St Julian’s on Wednesday afternoon, the police said.
The accident happened in Mikiel Anton Vassalli Street (Regional Road), a few metres away from the scene of a crash which last Monday cost the life of a bus driver.
In Wednesday’s accident, which occurred at 3.30pm, a man aged 28 of Zejtun lost control of the BMW 320 he was driving and it overturned.
The driver was unhurt but a passenger, a 25-year-old man also of Zejtun, was taken to hospital for treatment.
The carriageway was closed to traffic for a time.
