The Malta Independent has won two categories at the 30th edition of the Malta Journalism Awards, held on Saturday at Verdala Palace in Rabat.
Sabrina Zammit (left) won the Best Upcoming Journalist of the Year Award while Semira Abbas Shalan won the Journalism that Promotes the Rights of Persons with Disability Award.
The Malta Independent congratulates our two young journalists for their achievement.
This media house was also a finalist in to other categories – Albert Galea for Interviewer of the Year and Domenic Aquilina for photo-journalism.
