A biker was critically injured early this morning following a collision in Mosta, the police said.
The accident took place in Zejfa Street at 2am.
The biker, a 46-year-old man from Rabat, was riding a BMW bike which was involved in a collision with Peugeot 206 driven by a 54-year-old man of Naxxar.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Magistrate Philip Galea Farrugia is leading an inquiry.
