A 44-year-old man from Siġġiewi was grievously injured on Friday after crashing into a tree in Attard.
The police said the accident happened in Triq l-Imdina at 3.45pm. The man was driving a Ford Transit.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
An inquiry is being held.
