Archbishop emeritus Paul Cremona has been hospitalized and is reportedly being held under observation at the Intensive Care Unit.
Cremona, 73, fainted earlier today at the Dominican convent in Rabat, according to reports.
He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital and is being held at the ITU, according to Net News.
Archbishop Charles Scicluna wished him a speedy recovery.
Cremona stepped down in 2014 because of health issues.
