A man was seriously injured on Friday night after he fell off the back of a truck, the police said.
The accident took place on the Coast Road, limits of Naxxar, at 11.30pm.
The man, aged 29 from Britain, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Magistrate Astrid May Grima is leading an inquiry.
