The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, is urging voter participation in the next round of European Parliament elections.
In a message for the New Year, the Nationalist MEP said that everyone’s vote matters, as it will help set the course and “decide on the Europe you want to see”.
“We have come a long way… we have been active and decisive,” she says. The European Union is stronger and more united than ever before.
We must keep striving to make Europe “fairer and safer”. We want a Europe that listens and understands, a Europe that is ready to embrace neighbours.
