A man who was seriously injured with an electric shock while he was working in Attard died in hospital, the police said.
The man, a North Macedonian aged 28 and resident in Msida, was carrying out a job in Hatab Street when the accident happened at 9.30am.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He died soon afterwards, the police said.
Magistrate Victor Asciak is leading an inquiry.
