The Labour Party has lost hope in its quest to solve the country’s problems, while the Nationalist Party is ready to take on this challenge after listening to the people, PN leader Bernard Grech said on Saturday evening.

Speaking in Munxar, the PN leader said that the Labour government has stolen from the people, a direct reference to the rescinded hospitals deal and the conclusion of the magisterial inquiry into the subject.

Grech condemned the Labour government’s attacks on the judiciary, whom he described as the last bastion of our democracy. He said that attacks by the government have been made on the judges who led the public inquiry into the assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia, and the magistrates who were responsible for the magisterial inquiries into the death of Jean Paul Sofia and the three hospitals deal.

Grech said that the way the PM is speaking shows that he is in possession of the three hospitals’ inquiry report, and is using the outcome for his own benefit.

He reiterated his call for the Attorney General to immediately publish the inquiry.
